NRL star Josh Papalii, of the Canberra Raiders, is selling his family home in Evatt.
This four-bedroom residence, ideal for a young family, features a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area that seamlessly connects to an expansive outdoor entertaining space, complete with a built-in barbecue.

Convincing Papalii’s three children to leave the property wasn’t easy, as the family plans to sell and move to a larger home in Canberra.

“They actually don’t want to move,” he told realestate.com.au. “They want to keep the house.”
“They just love the pool, the slide, the sandpit, the basketball court and the putting green.”
“I actually love my golf, so I’m usually out there most afternoons while the kids are in the pool.”
“We’re just looking for a bigger house. We’re expanding as a family and I felt like it’s the right thing to do.”
“We get a lot of family coming down from Brissy all the time and because it’s a four-bedder we’re looking for that extra room.”

He’s also played 23 State of Origin games for Queensland and represented both Australia and Samoa on the international stage.
With his contract extending through to the end of 2025, Papalii is already preparing for life after rugby, working on starting a business in the disability care sector. “We’re hoping to have it up and running by the end of the year,” he mentioned.
In Evatt, where the median house price has climbed to $872,500—up 6.4% over the past year—the property is going on auction on September 14.
