THE STORY….

Back in 1977, when Charnwood was being developed, the Gallway family built their first home on Bettington Circuit.

“The location was just perfect – it sits close to the primary school and between 2 sets of shops.”

“Public transport is also nearby, and you can get all the way to Charnwood shops without crossing a road. You just follow the footpaths, or if you start at the top of the street on your bike, you can pretty much roll to the shops without pedaling. Trust me, we have all tried it.”

“We are not the only ones who have lived here since the beginning, it’s a small cul-de-sac, and the next-door neighbours have been there for 40 years.”

“Over the years, we have made a few alterations to the original 3 bedroom home to give it a bit more space. But our favourite space has always been the dining and lounge room. Many a Sunday night family dinner with kids, partners, 8 grandkids and sometimes a friend or two. Mum never minded cooking a roast dinner for up to 20 people.”

“We have so many memories that we will always cherish from this home, and we know that it is ready for the next family to make it their home and make lasting memories.”
