My parents fell in love with 8 Challinor Crescent at first sight. The location, street appeal and friendly neighbourhood ticked all the boxes for a young family.

This house has forever been my home, and how could I possibly pick a favourite memory to share?

Was it the simplicity of riding our bikes up and down the driveway for hours with the neighbours while the sun set and Mum cooked dinner?

Was it building a billy cart from junk scraps in the shed with dad, then riding it with my two sisters down the driveway at what we thought was mach 10!

Or maybe it was cooking up a storm of baked goods for Christmas, school fetes and birthdays in the kitchen with Mum?

It could have even been the excitement as we watched the new swimming pool get installed or helped Mum and Dad with the renovations as our home grew with my sisters and I.

Sleep-overs with our girlfriends, or sing star and movie nights in the rumpus room.

I still remember the day Dad installed outside speakers off the rumpus room, so we could watch movies in the pool.

One of my more recent memories was watching my little nieces (ages 1 & 2) show me how good they were at swimming as we sat around the pool on a perfect summer’s day, shaded by the big tree in the back corner.

Or having all our family and friends squeezing into the ‘Outdoor Room’ on the occasion of Dad’s 50th Birthday
So hard to decide…

Aside from all the great memories we have created we have also made a few changes to the house over time.

From the built-in desk with drawers in the rumpus room to suit working from home, to the large picture frame windows overlooking the pool.

Eight years ago, we also installed a new modern kitchen with stylish black granite and plenty of drawers to fuel the cooking adventures.

This list could go on, but to whoever buys our home, I hope it brings you and your family as much laughter, joy, love and memories as it has our family and us.
