THE BOY FROM QUEANBEYAN WITH A STORY:

Born and raised in Queanbeyan, Kelven has spent his whole life in and around the Canberra region – which has helped forge his genuine understanding of his local community and connection with his role at Jonny Warren Properties.

Shaped by hard-work, consistency, and a strong appreciation for personal connection, Kelven’s foundations have been built through working in his family’s successful local business, ‘New Cathay Chinese Restaurant’, since 2019.

Working in a fast-paced environment where communication, service, and reliability are paramount, Kelven has developed a calm demeanor and approach under pressure, as well as a clear understanding of what it means to make people feel looked after and cared for.

 

THE REAL ESTATE JOURNEY:

Kelven’s move into real estate felt more like a natural progression. His strong interest in business and people-focused mindset, accompanied by his sound judgement when making major decisions, drew him towards an industry where relationships matter just as much as results.

Joining Jonny Warren Properties has provided Kelven with the opportunity to bring his work ethic, energy, and client-focused approach into a role where he can continue learning, grow within a highly regarded local team, and help people through one of life’s biggest milestones.

Additionally, Kelven’s experience has been shaped not only by work, but also by leadership and personal development. He holds Certificates in Fitness and Sport & Recreation and has coached multiple Division 1 rugby teams – experiences that have strengthened his leadership, discipline, and ability to work with others towards a shared goal. During his time in school, he was also appointed House Captain and completed more than 50 hours of community service, reflecting a long-standing willingness to contribute and lead by example.

 

THE MAN OFF DUTY:

Outside of work, Kelven enjoys staying active through gym and sport, spending time with friends, and trying new things.

Having grown up locally, Kelven feels a strong connection to the Canberra and Queanbeyan community and values being part of a business so closely tied to the region. For Kelven, real estate is not just about property, but about people, trust, and helping clients feel supported by someone who genuinely knows and values the community they are a part of.
